Who is Dale Davis? |
Dale Davis is an NBA veteran with more then a basketball presence. Dale stands for the integrity that it takes to reach excellence, in sports and in business and this is why he leads the pack on and off the court. Athletic accomplishments, such as his selection by Indiana, as the 13th overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft lead to nine seasons with the Pacers setting playoff franchise marks in all three rebounding categories with 338 offensive rebounds, 627 defensive rebounds and 965 total rebounds.
With the Indiana Pacers, he was considered a driving force of the team as a starting power-forward. His pro career, from 1991 to 2007, entailed the Indiana Pacers (1991-2000 and 2005), the Portland Trail Blazers (2000-2004), the Golden State Warriors (2004-2005 and the Detroit Pistons (2005-2007), and included intermittent trades.
Dale applies his rebound ability against the boards with an equally tough approach to business. Mr. Davis sometimes refers to himself as “old school”, but to the collection of young, successful NBA players who are involved in Dale’s entrepreneurial endeavors; this means “mentor.”
As the founder and leader of Pro Player’s Holdings Mr. Davis scopes new business ventures as if he were scouting a play-off competitor. As a graduate of Clemson in Business Management, Dale carefully selects business ventures for Pro Player’s Holdings that create optimistic revenue streams and make worthwhile contribution to society by creating employment with positive social reinforcement. His talent for leading a team in basketball is transferred to the business team that manages Pro Players Holdings.
